EYELID SURGERY or BLEPHAROPLASTY is a procedure for people who suffer from flabby and redundant skin in their eyelids as well as periocular fat pad bulging which produces a sad and tired gaze that hampers nonverbal communication.  In many people the extra skin obstructs the visual field, making this procedure a reconstructive rather than an aesthetic need.  EYEBROW LIFT helps to reposition this element in a proper place and diminishes flabby and redundant skin in the lateral part of the eyebrows.

• It is an ambulatory surgery, done under sedation and local anesthesia.
• It lasts from 1 to 2 hours.
• Incisions are made along the upper eyelid fold and just below the lower eyelid eyelashes line.
• Extra skin is resected and periocular fat pads are repositioned / trimmed if they are out of their normal position. Eyebrow position is restored and we prevent its fall over the eyelid.
