TUMMY TUCK or ADBOMINOPLASTY is a surgical procedure in which the excessive fat and flabby skin in the abdomen is removed to improve the shape and contour of the body; during this procedure the muscles of the abdomen are tightened and moved back to their original anatomic position.  This procedure helps to correct alterations in body shape secondary to pregnancies and significant body weight changes.

• It is a surgical procedure done under regional anesthesia.
• It lasts 1.5 – 2.5 hours aprox.
• A horizontal incision at the level of the pubic bone is made; its length depends on the excess of fat and skin.
